Our venues

We take amazing London venues and transform them into immersive cinemas. From candlelit churches to cobbled Camden courtyards, we’ve turned corners of the city into cinema seventh heaven.

Capital Studios, Wandsworth

Our first permanent site is Wandsworth’s iconic Capital Studios, a TV studio-turned cinema lovers’ playground. Take your pick from two themed movie theatres, then explore the Studio Bar, The Annex and The Yard’s globe-spanning selection of food and drink.

Troxy, East London

For the month of December only, Backyard Cinema, the UK’s leading experiential cinema venue is bringing movie magic back to East London’s iconic Troxy, taking over London’s original Art Deco Cinema and transforming it into the ultimate Christmas Movie Palace, bringing the golden age of cinema back with extra tinsel, glamour and sparkle.

Romeo + Juliet at The Union Chapel

Our six year sell-out show of Baz Luhrmann’s acclaimed 1996 version of Romeo and Juliet. Set under the stunning stained glass windows and candlit aisles of The Union Chapel, with a live soundtrack from the Some Voices choir, performing crowd favourite classics including Young Hearts, Everybody’s Free, Kissing You and more. Utterly unforgettable!
